Summary of Men’s Event at First Baptist Church of Groesbeck

On September 9, 2025, six attendees from our church participated in the Men’s Event hosted at the First Baptist Church of Groesbeck, Texas. This annual gathering, presented by the church’s Men’s Ministry Team, is known as "The Great Outdoors" and provides an opportunity for fellowship, spiritual growth, and community engagement.
The event commenced with a classic Fish Fry, allowing guests to enjoy a hearty meal and connect with one another before the main proceedings. Following this time of food and fellowship, attention turned to the speaker portion of the evening.
This year’s featured guest was Big Billy Kinder, who delivered an engaging and inspiring message tailored for the men in attendance. His talk resonated with participants, offering encouragement and insight relevant to their daily lives and spiritual journeys.
To close out the evening, the Men’s Ministry Team organized a series of giveaways as a gesture of appreciation and excitement. Among the winners were Smith, Wesson, and Joe, each of whom went home with prizes awarded during the drawing.
The Men’s Event at First Baptist Church of Groesbeck continues to serve as a meaningful tradition, fostering camaraderie and faith among men from churches in the area, and setting the stage for another memorable year ahead.
